Own brand

samesame is my own brand: accessories for dogs and the people who walk them. Every piece comes in a print that can be worn by both, you and your dog.

I built it from zero: the name, identity, prints, product range and the shop.

Identity

The name says the idea out loud. A heavy, rounded lowercase wordmark keeps it friendly and still reads small, on a buckle or a care label. The brand runs on two colours, cobalt and cream, with Instrument Sans for everything else.

Prints

Two launch prints, each made to be worn by both: blue, a painterly ink print on cream, and stripe, wide bands of sky blue and burgundy. The prints carry the colour, so the brand itself can stay quiet.

One print. Two of you.

Product

A cotton foulard for you or your dog, plus a collar and leash in the same prints with brass hardware. A small range that tells the whole idea at a glance.

The shop

A pre-order site to open the brand before production. Ecommerce first and obvious about what it sells, with product pages built around the pairing: pick a print, then add the duo pack or the matching walk set.
